What are the effects of dividing the VCO output by 2 on output jitter?

Hi,

You have to be more clear on your doubt. If it is very low frequency signal at the output of VCO then jitter is not much.

Jitter will remain the same.

Think of divide by 2 as eliminating alternate edges. The remaining edges will have same jitter as from original source, unless the divider is adding more jitter.

that depends which kind of vco likely to be desigh actually lc vco is having less jitter compare to ring vco
