hi
am trying to understand how the level shifters work ,thier construction and operation,
i know some basic points like
these are needed in multivoltage domain wheere signals are crossing the domains, and we have up shifters and down shifters ,
i want to know more about level shifters ;;
it would be help full if some one can provide some handouts or some docs regarding the level shifters functionality and construction

you can make a basic-form level shifter with very simple purely-digital component.

Think about this one:

Dear raju,

What u have told is excatly right.

One important constraint has to be taken is width of the final inverter in

level shifter design, we need to analyse what are the effects we face by vaying the

width.
