in order to achieve the spectral mask requirement,we should filter the signal channel at the baseband. Is it correct?

And what is the difference between the spectral mask filter and the pulse shaping filter?

Re: spectral mask

spectral mask filtering is done at the baseband.

Pulse shaping is used for equalization purposes to reduce the ISI. Spectral mask is avoiding interference to/from other devices.

Hope this helps.
