Hi guys,
I have to design LNA(MMIC) with NF<0.5 dB at 50 MHz,which technology i have to use.
please help me

Hi,

upto my understanding the technology is not only defined by your frequency of operation, it also depends on cost, foundry etc..

r u going fabricate this ?

if u can try 180um,130um,90nm CMOS technology. if u like to have high freq design thn models with RF MOS and BJT are also avaliable

Hope this helps

Thanks,

Thanks!!!
Ya i am going to fabricate, NF & Freq. is prety low i dont think 180,130,90 um CMOS is going to help
thanks

guys. The LNA is used in a MMIC and the NF specification is so strigent ,so the CMOS RF roceess maybe not the most favorouble technology .The BJT and the GaAs may be more sutible for your applications.considering the your working frequency is very low ,so the ft of the transistor is not need to be high, and larger feature size canbe used.
CMOS RF technology's most valuable features is not the NF and ft,but the cost and easy to integrating.so maybe not suitable for your use.
