Why all technologies are not trade off?
Why only 130nm,45nm,90nm,65nm,350nm,180nm.............why not 120nm,123nm,105nm ??

could not understand this....!

anyway i understood the remaining query...
it is related to photolithigraphy process by which ICs are fabricated... strong rays of IR or laser with wavelength 193nm or 157nm are used to "write" devices on the wafer... due to the limitation of available wavelength of those light rays we cant have all range of technology nodes.

I wanna add something there is an "S" rule in which S is some format of 7. The technology changes in that way with some factor of 7
