What's the function of diode bridge in analog front-end circuit?

I have this Diode Bridge in an analog front-end circuit, I want to know what does this Diode bridge do, and why there is such a diode brigde in the signal path.

About a Diode bridge

I suppose that it is the level shifter.Apply the KVL with the signal level ur getting and just solve the equation u will find that ur signal is DC shifted. Please tell us were ur using this cct i.e infront of which analog cct.

Added after 54 minutes:

I simulated the above cct with signal input as 2 Vp and 250mVp. I cam to the conclsion that it might be used for the isolation purpose. If u tell me where ur using this cct then I can get the real thing.

This circuit is an analog front-end circuit of an instrument. the front-end circuit should work to about 500MHz. I thought it is for isolation ,but i don't sure about it.
I am an begginer of analog front-end circuit, so there are many problems. thank you very much.
 

About a Diode bridge
