Hi all,

I am trying to do post-layout simulation using simvision. I have extracted the SDF file from encounter. Can someone tell me how i can include the SDF file in the simulation.

Thanks.

Dear Mathi

As far as i know differnt simulators have different commands to include the SDF file for post layout simulation. The best way to know more and in details is by reading manual. Please go through the manual.

Hi,
In tools there is an option for compiling sdf file, once it is done it will generate an output file which it will use in simulation. In commond line also u can do the same thing.

if you are using ncverilog,

add +sdf_file<arg> Specifies the SDF annotation file
+sdf_orig_dir Put compiled sdf file in same location as original sdf file
