hi all
plz i wanna to learn about OFDM and MIMO,I'M a biggener in studying CDMA so if u have any materials that make me reach to understand the OFDM&MIMO plz upload..and plz can anybody tell me ideas about WCDMA or VOIP graduation projects... i want a bit new ideas

OFDM&MIMO

MIMO&OFDM is a good topic to research
in OFDM there are some channel (power of 2) that should be multiplied. the value of the signal of these channels act as a set of FFT multiplier. After taking IFFT you find the value of the output signal in theat time. by doing IFFT in the other times, you can find a signal which contain the inf. of all users.
in the reciever the signal of the channels can be achieved by taking a FFT with the same orther.
one of the most important challenges in this area is the larg value of peak to average ratio of the transmitting signal.
if u mix your problem with space time coding u can find good results

WiMax is really new and there is bunch of topics you can work on. For example, in WiMax the basestation can have 1,2,3,4 antennas and the natual question to ask is: how to choose from these antennas? Different critetia might leads to different answers. Worths trying.

OFDM&MIMO

The main challeng in MIMO is that you can use it as Multiplixing ( which mean transmitting different data information on each antenna which mean higher throghput) and Diversity ( which mean transmitting the same data information on each antenna which can improve the channel condition)........you must be careful when using MIMO system because the channel model for the system will be changed and become more complicated.

The best starting point for understanding MIMO algoritm is by reading Alamoti code....you can download his paper and matlab code from google
