I need Outdoor Wireless access point/bridge with an output power of minimum 500mw for a reasonable price. if you have any suggesssions, pls...
Needed specifications:
POE injector type
with detachable antenna
compatible with 801.1g standard
output power 500mw
2.4 Ghz type

Thanks in advance

You are going to have trouble finding the 500 mW version. Your best solution would be to have more antenna gain.

Yup! Agreed with flatulent. Normally maximum power transmit for Access Point/Bridge is 100mW (refer to www.cisco.com). For outdoor wireless LAN we interested on antenna gain and antenna type Rx/Tx(13.5dB yagi, solid dish etc) and these factors will effects on distance and power received.

According to formula Pr = Pt + Gt + Gr -Ls
where Pr =power receiver
Pt = Power Transmit (Fixed/constant)
Gt = Transmitter Antenna Gain (variable depend on antenna type/gain
Gr = Receiver Antenna Gain (variable depend on antenna type/gain
Ls = Free Space Loss (normally we keep constant)
