How to save checksum of a file?

hello,

im checking the ckecksum of my file.

using the following command will display the checksum. How do i save this checksum?

cksum (file name)
 

how to save checksum

You can try the following two commands:
cksum file_to_be_checked > file.ck
cksum file_to_be_checked | tee file.ck
