I am looking for a simple charge pump PFD to build a PLL at 20MHz. The one from TI (TLC2932A) is too simple that it has no control of the CP output current. Then I found some chips from ADI, they can be programmed to set different CP output current, but I don't want to programme it. I just want a fixed CP output current whatever value it is. Can someone suggest a chip to me? Thanks.

A simple architecture would suffice for most of the applications. CP programming is only needed for switching different frequency ranges. Hence the normal Charge pump + PFD should do for your frequency application.

But when designing the LPF, we need the CP current to calculate the PFD gain, am I right?
