Hello

Has anyone used the LCD module ODM 12216 from Oriole? What chipset is it based on?I cant find its manual giving timing details and commands anywhere.

**broken link removed**
This is the only information on the companys website regarding this module.

There are 2 chips on the back and one of them has
SEC c8048
KS0066F00.

Any idea what these numbers mean?Googling for these doesnt come up with anything useful.

Thanks.

The KS0066 / KS0066U is software compatible to the industry standard HD44780 controller. So you have a very standard LC module.

The only thing that is a little bit different is the fact that the backlight uses only one pin (hence 15 pins, instead of the more common 16). But that should not cause any trouble.
