Dear Sir,
In NMOS we have both enhancement mode and depletion mode but we dont have these two modes in PMOS, we have only enhancement mode. Why is it so why we cant have NMOS

Re: Regarding PMOS

see the answer in integrated electronics by millman and helkias.chapter entitled "FET"

Re: Regarding PMOS

Depletion mode PMOS alsoavailable. Its fabrication and operations are explained in this attachment. Gothrough this.

Re: Regarding PMOS

In depletion mode, the channel has been already built. So, you can get dren currents with Vgs = 0.
For depletion mode NMOS, negative Vgs decrease current, until deploy all n-type channel carriers.
For depletion mode PMOS, positive Vgs decrease current, until deploy all p-type channel carriers.

Re: Regarding PMOS

Because we can implant positive Ion into mosfet's gate,

but we can't implant negative Ion into mosfet's gate,

best regards
