How this short circuit protection works?

Desaturation detection, trips if gate voltage is high and drain voltage higher than a threshold level.

Desaturation detection works well with IGBT and to a certain extent with high voltage MOSFET, but not so reliably with low voltage MOSFET.

Any other Overload/Short Circuit protection circuit for Inverter with op amp(Hysteresis)?

Its not showing any different outputs, operating at normal vs short circuited in proteus

Thanks

Transistor output characteristic determines expectable desaturation behavior. Question is if desaturation detection can shutdown an output short before the transistor is destroyed.

Current measurement with shunt allows more selective overcurrent detection.

Desaturation Protection for H-bridge

I am not able to understand desaturation protection and formulas to calculate output at shortcircuit pin (Image attached)

Mosfet Using 75nf75 with 12V (Vgs) signal supply with high and low side drivers
configuration: Full bridge
Normal operating current Id = 20 A
