low powered compact led chip

Hi there!
I want to embed an LED into my project and think that one of those small flat led's would suit it best due to their compact design. I believe that these are simply the led chip without the casing? The problem is, when i search to buy led chips i only come across the high powered ones(1Watt minimum) which are unsuitable(will be running off batteries). Am i searching for the right thing? anyone know where I might be able to find a low powered compact LED? I am after a red one specifically.

The SMD 0603 leds shown in this link are suitable, scroll down the linked page for the specification.
