first of all i have a device pic32mx575f256h and i have to configure the USB CDC protocol with use of Application Notes of AN1164 . i have to complete receive and send function as a PC side and micro controller side.

but some problem regarding hang machine application on PC side i have to shutdown my PC. and again process to communication. this error comes how many times doesn't know fully . so i want to move on chip like FTDI to convert serial to USB . so please any document or any code to using FTDI AND PIC32 connection and i have to control all communication completely please help me and suggest me best FTDI chip .

hey kgshankar1980

what is the best chip suit for my application to send and receive command using usb to uart communication. ?

As you are talking about you have done USB prototcol but by using this chip u have to change this protocol to UART protocol.
You can implement the circuit from datasheet page no 23 onwards as per your requirements.Whether to Bus powered or self.

thanks embpic for your information bro!!!

and you have yo include ferrite bead also as show in sch of FT232RL. Otherwise you also can use POLYFUSE in USB power line and other circuitory power line, if you are using power from PC.

what is the use of ferrite bead ?

is that drop current ?

HTML:
A ferrite bead is connected in series with the USB power supply to reduce EMI noise from the FT232R and associated circuitry being radiated down the USB cable to the USB host. The value of the Ferrite Bead depends on the total current drawn by the application.

and you can also use polyfuse to protect the PC from your circuit.
use ferrite bead of 600R / 0.5A .
