Hi ,

I am using dsPIC30F5011, and using internal oscillator, and while using this I have options to from FRC w/PLL4, FRC w/PLL8, FRC w/PLL16, despite the selection i make with PLL I was not able to make my interfaces work properly. Where they are working fine with an external oscillator(8mhz).

how do I check if my clocks are prompt w.r.t interface ? For example I have EEPROM(at SCL pin).

please provide any link to know the steps.

Regards,

Raady !

I tried probing with oscilloscope but due to insulated coating on board I was not able to check. I wanted to know the other possible ways ?

there is no such defined method for checking health of microcontroller.
It may happen that a port do not work properly due to some over voltage/current damage.
rest circuit will work fine.
I have a uc that displays data on LCD but you can not progrram it.
