What is hole and which experiment proved that holes do exists as an independent entity ?

Hello

as per my knowladge Hole is nothing just absence of electron in atom,it is imaginary part which is use to understand electronics theories in simple way.

hole does not exist as independent quantity, its just when a atom losses its valance electron brings a + charge on the atom, that is normally called hole. but the electron is nearby and combine with the atom when the attraction on electron ends. thats why permanent ions does not form.
