i want to build a smoke detector
i just want to know what kind of sensor do i have to use
i just saw a mq2 sensor, with 6 pins,,but didn't find any datasheet for it
could anyone guide me to the right direction of completing this circuit?
tnx

and by the way , i'm using atmega 8 for controling the sensor

do you know a simple circuit to convert the 6pin detector to 3pin sensor?

The sensor shows that 2 pins are for heater and if you see the other 4 pins then a pair of pins are shorted. So, it is actually 3 pin sensor.

I have seen datasheets of many sensors and they are actually 3 pins.
