[SOLVED] can I supply 40xx logic with 3.3 V ?

I want interface 4021 and 4094 with 3.3V microcontroler

however VIH of 40xx is 3.5 V with 5 V suply

my question : can I supply 40xx with 3.3 V and if it works ok ?
 

Yes you can, the 40xx series is usually specified from 3V to 15V.
Take care: at 3.3V it will be very slow!
