hiii 2 all..i have two questions..
is there any way i can interface matlab with wifi?
is there any way i can interface matlab with serial port without using controllers?

regards

You can "interface " Matlab to WiFi by using Netcdf.
You can "interface" Matlab using serial port calls
I do not understand what " without using controllers" means, please describe you requirement in more detail

thankyou so much for the help...
actually i have designed a transceiver in Advance Design system, now i need to transmit a signal from one end to the other end wirelessly...what i am doing is i have interfaced ADS with matlab and now i need to interface Matlab with wifi...this is juts one phase of the project..for that i want to interface wifi with matlab...
in the second phase of the project i will interface matlab with serial port and from there i will transmit data via antenna...i need to interface the serial port of my PC directly with matlab.. please guide me if the serial port can support a data rate of around 1 Mbps?? in either case please guide me how can i accomplish my second task without using any micro controller like pic16f877 etc??

Delay estimation for BER calcualtion

See for Matlab serial communication details

Sir i have almost completed the transceiver design on ADS..but the BER that I am having is on the higher side that is 0.25. Other than BER I am having some issues related to Delay in the feedback path that is for BER calculation. The amplitudes of the signals are same but I am not sure how to calculate the delay, It looks as if the pulses get smeared out after passing through the filter. Is there any way i can calculate the time it takes for the signal to travel once it is interpolated to the point just before reception. Adding this much delay in the feedback path would definitely solve the problem and then the signal could be compared accurately. The data rate is 1.5Mbps and Ku band frequencies have been selected for both uplink and downlink
please assist me in the problem stated
thanks
