hey guys , im a final year student , working on a pulsed oximeter project for my graduation , i took alook at the threads already posted but i have fuond that alot of people complained about using the oximeter with the MSP430.
for my project, i tried to design a circuit for the probe, it worked but its not up to my expectations. now the thing is , since i dont have alot of time for troubleshooting the circuit , i decided to buy a sensor probe and connect it directly to my microcontoller , i already have the MSP430 with the luanch pad from previouse project, but i was wondering if anyone knows how to connect the probe (i.e Nellcor or nonin probes) directly to the micro ? which output interface should i use to connect it ?
im welling to buy another microcontroller for this project , but i was wondering if sombody tried to do this project succesfully, and which board did you use ?.
any advice would be appreciated .
thank you all

You need to pulse the TX diode with a digital output
You need to condition and amplify the 2 x diode channel signals
You need to read the analogue signals from the two diodes with 2 analogue channels fast enough (2x the TX frequency)
