Choosing cables to load - 3-phase engine.

My H07RN-F cable have 60*C rating. R(20*C)=7,98Ω/km -> 25m cable have R=0,2Ω (20*C) and R=0,23Ω (60*C) Ur=I*R=2,6V -> Voltage drop = 1,13% < 3%. This is in theory, if I'm right ofcourse. I'm concerned about inrush current which should be like 5-8 times bigger than normal current. I don't this...

Choosing cables to load - 3-phase engine.

Hi everyone, I need to wire up 3-phase motor. 5,5kW | 400V | 11,3A | direct delta connection | cos(phi)=0,86 | Cable length must be 25m. | Tmax=60*C | Voltage drop max. 3% From calculation, I see that 2,5mm^2 would be ok, but I have doubts. Can someone give me advice? Thank You.

How to wire a 3 phase motors in different electrical networks?

Re: How to wire 3 phase motor in deferent electrical networks ? Long story short. You have to connect phase lines to coil terminals and PE / PEN to engine cower. In TT You just must connect cower to GROUND by yourself. N should not be connected. Problem solved.

How to wire a 3 phase motors in different electrical networks?

Re: How to wire 3 phase motor in deferent electrical networks ? So in TNC I can/should connect PEN to engine cower ? In TT I don't have PE from electrical network and I must create earthing system by myself with metal spike in ground. So IT and TT electrical network are basically same for 3...

    Broken Fluke Scopemeter 99

Problem solved with 0,2mm wire and copper tape. I tried to fix traces with carbon-glue but I almost ate my teeth when doing it. It's pure madness. This stuff should be forbiden by Geneva Convention.

    Broken Fluke Scopemeter 99

Those soft buttons ... I checked them with ohms range with Fluke 87 (ahh that latching beep, great stuff) and it's clear now that this keyboard is matrix one and those buttons that are not working should not work, because there are no continuity between them and "their" string. But how ...

    Broken Fluke Scopemeter 99

Now I see that this scopemeter have 2 not working buttons ("move chanel B trace down" and "lower Time base") Carbon tape looks ok, carbon pads are not damaged. Soldering joints conecting tape and PCB look also ok.

    Broken Fluke Scopemeter 99

I'm not pro repair guy. Friend gave it to me. In first words after reading your post - Oh my God If i had osciloscope I would check that 5V signal ... Now problem in half solved. I just figured out that soldering on LM and Power supply needs good hand (not mine but i think im enough for this...

    Broken Fluke Scopemeter 99

Hi, I just got Fluke scopemeter 99 series II. I have problem with it. This thing is quite shy and don't want to display anything on its "LCD". In short words - scopemeter don't show anything on display. It's not completely dead, because when I click auto set button I can hear relay clicks and...
