You should clear the watchdog before overflow of its timer occurs (for overflow period value check the mcu datasheet). For instance, PICs watchdog have an internal RC oscillator that is independent of the main clock source of the uC. Its timeout value can vary between 7 and 33 ms (from PIC...
Re: Pic18 compiler choice
Well, if you need to use an RTOS for your application, I would sugest you Hitec PICC18. If not, or if you are short on time, go with no doubt for CCS.

Protel let you import the whole batch of gerber files.
Just open PCB editor then go to FILE -> IMPORT and choose gerber batch in "Files of Type" filter on bottom.
Hi,
I'm currently developing a short range telemetry system where a high-speed radio link is needed. I would like to use Bluetooth or 802.11 standards. Does anyone have a sugestion for a plug and play, low-cost, low-power Bluetooth or 802.11 embedded module?

gsm module datasheet
Thanks for your help.
I've found on the internet the GM862-GSM module form round solutions (https://www.roundsolutions.com/gsm/). I think these are the cheaper I've found (€80.00 a piece). I'll get the whole GSM system working (module+antenna+antenna cable) for less than...
scrambler descrambler
Hi all,
Does anyone have a C or assembly sourcecode for implementing a scrambler/descrambler (data whitening) using the Bluetooth poly (x7+x4+1) on PIC?
A flow chart would also be of great help.
Best regards

Hi,
I am currently designing an application that uses a PIC16LF877 with a VCC of 3.3V. I'm getting some problems using the Microchip debugger as It doesn't recognize the existance of the target microcontroller. I have read the ETN21 technical note from Microchip and replaced R5 as well as R22...
I wonder if anyone here in elektroda has experience in designing Springboard modules for Handspring PDA's?
I'm currently designing one but I'm having a problem with the flash memory that I'm using (AMD AM29LV160BT). The PDA just don't recognize it. If someone can help me on this please PM me and...
