one thing that i did not understand was the way to turn off a scr!
you simply "wait" for to turn off?
when a gate current it given, the scr turns on, then i still behaves like an open circuit for how long?
it's until the sine wave reaches a certain value of voltage that the scr stops??
how can i control either the current and voltage DC?
does anyone have an electronic scheme???
there is a transfoirmer involved 230vAC/20vDC, that provides max 50A.
I must retain the current until it reaches 20V, so than i can elevate the current til the 50A. 8O
