optical cdr
I am a newer for optical cdr,but older at frequency synthezizer
will anybody offer some links or book at the cdr spec(sensititvity,UI。。。。。)
and how it related to the detail pll specification like jitter、phase noise、loop bandwidth,
thank in advance
zero if dc offset
dc offest 。。。for receiver ,when LO mixed with itself,(main because some leakage from pll to lna、mixer input for what ever reason like imperfection of isolation or em coupling or reflection),it will create dc offset,
it important that DC offset can be upon some mV level for...
ok,if your circuit comparator outputs diff +3.3 or -3.3 for 1 and-1 then ,the gain is 3.3, so when feedback this to dac, you should take account it
on the other hand,in digital would if you see 3.3v for 1 and -3.3v for -1, then 1/3.3 as gain is automatically added
jowong1 didn't say clearly...
actually by my opinion ,you should calculate is the delay=TpLH(swing up time)+ TpHL(swing down),which instead of so-called bandwidth do control the frequency by a large signal manner。
I am asked to design a lib of inductor in ads-momentom with IBMkit, the problem is that in vcpm, the cadence tool automaticly synthesis the inductor you specified,
but in momentum it doesn't,so even I draw the coarse inductor myself,
it makes me embrassed to draw exact every inductor which...
the simulation just tell me the noise out/noise in=nf and added noise,
but when I change the source impedance and temperature all of the three noise also changed, can anybody tell me based on what the noise data are given out
especially noise in.
attention to IIP3 and P1-dB!
first this is a mixer, not a amp ,vottera series don't take account LO signal into.... and the theoratical math approximation is itself a simplified model with respect to amp, you don't know if a1 and a2 a3 changed by the input power level....
at last you maybe...
I know this is stupid question...but if I don't ask, I will be stupid not my question~~~ thank you first
what I wanna ask is which circuit need a ptat current bias
what circuit need bandgap
I have seen that most rf lna use ptat why? (to compensate the bjt's negetive Vbe? this will increase...

ok,it seems rfic guy tend to use goldgate or pss,
but I will continue~
the previous problem is solved ,all I need is a ads model file, anyone have idea about turning spetre model into ads model, the jazz18 rf designkit offer both surport for spectre and ads,but the inductor model don't match and...
when I import the cadecne instance to ads ,and netlist the cadence equivelent circuit, press f7 ,and this message turned out .xxxschematic. mo is an instance of an undefined model n3p3fets, I use jazz sbc18pt ....
