    Current feedback or voltage feedback

Can one add a current feedback gain stage to a voltage feedback stage? In RF a number of stages add addtional phase shift and compromises bandwidth. Is it prudent to think that having a current feedback stage will have a better performance?

Is measuring capacitors using multimeters possible?

Multi meter Can we measure capacitors usning multimeters? I do have a multimeter that can allegedly read Farads but takes ages to come up with or not come up with a realsitic value when touched across a proper capascitor! :-(

What is the minimum pulse width one can generate using a LM555 timer?

false triggering of 555timer Thanks guys! Can anyone tell me why does a monostable have a false triggering while reducing the time constant? I am having a family of timers. An astable that triggers a monostable which triggers 2 more monostable timers, one of which is there to introduce a delay...

What is the minimum pulse width one can generate using a LM555 timer?

What is the minimum pulse width one can generate using a LM555 timer? I could easily get down to 10 microsec but I want it to have 1microsecond. However, this doesn't seem to work by having a resistor reduced by a factor of 10. THe pulses start to have intermediate transistions and distorted...

JFET 2n4393 as a voltage controlled resistor

Re: JFET 2n4393 Thanks guys. One more question! I have been using 2N4393- an N-channel FET. It did work quite well as a voltage control resistor up to quite high frequencies, say upto 1MHz. But obviously it kept on deteriorating as it departed the audio domain. It got worse at even higher...

JFET 2n4393 as a voltage controlled resistor

JFET 2n4393 Hi, I am new with JFETs. I want to incorporate a JFET 2N4393 to work as a voltage controlled resistor. I have two questions: a) can I have it to work as a linear resistor? I learned from somewhere that if I put 1M resistor in the drain and a 1M resistor between drain and gate then...
