to all who have cell phone layout experiences:
In general,how to stack the 6 or 8 layers board for GSM cell phone?
How to setup the via size, including the vias and micro-vias?
How to setup the wire width, and clearance?
Are there any articles or books about the cell phone...
I also agree with that there is no way to complete this task-convert protel schmatic to PADS schematic. Except there is a special software, buy it will cost too much, and no company like to do it. After all, drawing a new schematic is not as difficult as drawing a PCB.
I use PowerPCB to do placement and divided the ground and power plane, then I set the design rules for clearance, at last I convert it to specctra to route, all of wires are routed in specctra except the clock signals, becaue the arc wire in PowerPCB will be changed to acute angle.

pade hole
I think they will be the same size when you print them by printer. When I use the POWER PCB to print, the same thing happened,the pads size are differnet but the holes size are the same. even they are filled by black, I can't recogonize them as holes.
