Maybe you can pay an attention on NTC( Negative Temperature Coefficient ) thermistor.
These devices are widely used in ac-dc power supplies for initial current limiting.

I want to measure wood humidity during the drying proccess.
What method is recommended. I've heard about conductivity measurement of wood which depends on humidity ( mass contents of water in wood ).
But for this methods calibration tables for each sort of wood needed.
