Problem using MSPGCC
Hi,
I'm using the mspgcc to compile and download a program to an Texas MSP430,
but when i execute the following command:
msp430-jtag -e led.elf
The following error message appears:
MSP430 parallel JTAG programmer Version: 1.3
An error occoured:
Can't open interface...

best msp430 compiler
Has anyone tried out the new Texas compiler for MSP430? It's called Code Composer Essentials or CCE. Is it as good as the one from IAR?(probably not...)

I think that the best and most i used is the one from IAR for MSP430 as someone has said in other topic, IAR is the Microsoft of the embedded world but a little better... :D
I've read about it somewhere in the net and was wondering if anybody have some more data on this subject. Links are welcome. Thanks.
P.S.: At what i've seen they use FPGAs processing power to run a heavy linear cryptoanalysis algorithm.
