    problem in buying fingerprint sensor chip

    actually, i begin to work on the same project to build a fingerprint recognition in hardware. Do you have any reference for the fingerprint matching? I try several open source fingerprint alg already but the result is not acceptable at all. The best one is about 20 FRR and 30 FAR. I wonder...

    Fpga and asic even though ASIC and FPGA are two different thing, when we design ASIC, we could use FPGA for emulation and verification purpose
