Learn Verilog or VHDL and code a block or two for a microprocessor ....
like u can design an ALU ..this is a feasible thing if u work a bit hard......It will add weightage to u also....
back to back diode

The Ebbers Moll model says that a transistor can be treated as two diodes connected in back to back fashion .....
Still , if u observe the internal operation of these 2 , then the operation of the diode circuit doesnot give the same characteristics as that of...

But , when I tried this in MODELSIM and Cadence , I found a few discrepancies ..
1) 5V at the input gave 4.6Vat the output
2) 0V at input gave 0.7V at the output
Why is this difference coming ????
