    circuit connection for hall sensor

Hi tpetar, one more clarification from u.. watever the sensor is, we should be able to measure quiescent voltage, but i am not able to measure tat... :???: u can check this **broken link removed** unfortunately the sensor i am using has been stopped.. is my sensor is failure? and i have...

    circuit connection for hall sensor

so i can use the sensor i am having now without the load...? actually i am measuring same voltage reading across the load and directly from sensor output...

    circuit connection for hall sensor

thanq for the reply.. i need voltage output with proportional to the magnetic field.. the current must be passed through the hall element in the sensor, then only we get the voltage.. What do u mean by circuit current should not pass?? else shall i use capacitor across voltage regulator input...

    circuit connection for hall sensor

i am using hall sensor and i have connected as shown in the attached picture.. As in the datasheet mentioned, the quiscent voltage of about 2.5V is not coming.. Instead i am measuring I am measuring 0.71V without magnet and 0.11V when magnet placed near to it...Please let me know what mistake...

problem with my ratiometer hall sensor

Hi!! I am using this hall sensor **broken link removed** i got 2 problems: 1. When i vary the magnetic field, the hall sensor is acting like digital, i mean, it showing either high value or low value... Its not varying linearly as the distance between the magnet and sensor varies. 2. The...

    high pressure cabeling

thank you for the reply. I have selected the hall sensor because it has high operational temperature.. **broken link removed** yes u r correct, it is to find the position of the ball valve.. I need to know how the wires should be cabeled so that it can withstand 200°C and 100 bars..

    high pressure cabeling

Hi all!! the picture shows the attachment of my magnet to the ball valve and placement of hall sensor... I need to house or cable the hall sensor, such that it withstands 100 bar pressure and 200°C temp. the cabel should extend about 2meters, so that it reaches my Data Acquisition board. And...

quiscent voltage as mention in my hall sensor

HI all!! I tried with new hall sensor of the same type and made connections.. but still it showing 0.7V when there is no magnetic field.. why i am not getting 2.5V??:???:

[MOVED] Tips needed on soldering prototype PCB

Hi, I'm ready to move from plastic breadboard to the soldering type of prototype PCB. What i immediately notice is that I'm missing the very useful "connected strips" - those long strips that run at the bottom of the plastic breadboard that allow you to easily connect all your +5V and grounds...

wiring in D15 port of my DAQ

Hi all!! I am using data acquisition, in which it has D25 as output and D15 port as input.. the D25 is connected to the PC thru the cabel.. I am using 3 pin hall sensor, the output of it should be connected to the pin8 of the D15. Now my question, is tat possible to connect directly to the...

quiscent voltage as mention in my hall sensor

Ok now i will tell u wat i have done... Without using any proto circuit board, i directly soldered the wires to the pins... i have taken the wires from the 9V battery and soldered to the 5V voltage regulator and then soldered to the hall sensor... is this might be the error???
