square wave generator 555
Thank you all. this was very helpful.
I have used the 555 Timer and it worked very well.
I have used the output of the 555 to drive a small transistor and this way I get a perfect inverted signal to drive my system.
Thanks again

I want to build a very simple 1000 Hz Sine Wave generator with about 5 Volts RMS output.
And my question is:
1. What is the best way to build such a generator?
2. Are there any IC's that produce a simple sine wave?
3. How to amplify the signal to have about 1 Amp output current.
Thanks

I want to build my own water mist generator with an ultrasonic transmitter.
Are there there any special transmitters built for this purpose?
Are there any circuits already available
What is the best frequency used for this?
I was told that some transmitter can go up to 10 MHz, is that correct...
Does anyone here know about new battery systems and developments.
I am looking for the most advanced battery for a hybrid car.
Features should be Long Life and Huge Capacity.
Any Ideas?
Thanks

square wave generator using 555 timer
Thank you IanP for the info and the great link.
Do you know if the 555 Timer allows to keep the ON-Time the same for the frequency range?
In other words, I would like to keep the output ON-TIME at lets say 2 milli seconds from low to high frequency, so...
555 timer square wave generator
Does anyone have a suggestion of how to make a very simple Square Wave generator that can be regulated from 10 HZ to 100 HZ (And may be up to 300 HZ).
Input Voltage is 12 Volts DC
Output can be anything between 5 Volts to 12 Volt
Duty Cycle is not so important...
Hello, I have a Leader LG 1311 Function Generator.
This one stopped working today.
It turns on but no output.
I also have a LG 1301 and it has a fuse on the output.
But it seams that the output of the LG1311 has no fuse.
Where can I get a service manual or the full schematics?
Thanks
