So anyone have idea about the exact equation between BW and transformation ratio?
Simply speaking that the 2 conclusion are not accurate with the plot and my simulation.
1. the BW is inverse propotional to Q.
2. half the transformation ratio and double the BW.
Thanks!
Hi, thanks.
I mean, I know the plot is correct.
But I cannot understand the equation.
From the application note, the calculation of the equation is not shown. And after I insert the value n=10 and f/f0=0.9 from the plot to the equation, I can't get the correct result that I2/i0=0.9.
Since this...
Hi,
From the Motorola application note AN721, the BW and transformation ratio relationship is plotted in fig. 1.
But From the Equation in Fig.2, the same result could not be obtained.
Anyone can give a explanation?
Thanks!
Thanks, this really works.
The reason is that my output signal Y consists 2 carriers Y1 and Y2. I want to separate the 2 carrier from time domain.
Y=Y1+Y2
Y1=mix(Ids.i,{1,0})+mix(Ids.i,{2,0})+mix(Ids.i,{3,0})
Y2=mix(Ids.i,{0,1})+mix(Ids.i,{0,2})+mix(Ids.i,{0,3})
Do you think is there any easier...
The individual plot ts(IDS.i[1]),ts(IDS.i[2]),ts(IDS.i[3]),... look ok. Each has different magnitude and phase
The question is, by using "+", it cannot be added together in a correct manner.
thanks.
It doesn't work, neither. The result is a different perfect sinus waveform.
If you have a look of the 2 expressions in spectrum, Both does not contain any harmonic content.
no, it's just typo here.
it seems that ADS trate the expression "ts(IDS.i[0])+ts(IDS.i[1])+ts(IDS.i[2])+ts(IDS.i[3])+..." as ts(constant magnitude), the result is always a perfect sinus waveform.
Hi,
If I write ts(IDS.i) then I can see the current waveform in time domain.
But if I write ts(IDS.i[0])+ts(IDS.i[1])+ts(IDS.i[2])+ts(IDS.i[3])+..., I cannot obtain the correct waveform.
Anyone can help me how to write the expression correctly?
Thanks!
Re: in ADS, how to make array operation of dependent variabl
What I really want to do is to multiply the two diagram and make integral for the gain.
The X axial is in fact the same, but the difinition is different in ADS, so I can't just write C=A*B
who can help me....
Thanks!
Hi,
From datasheet, the 100um RO4350b has a different dielectric constant of 3.36.
But by simulation, the value should be higher as other thickness, who knows the correct value?
Thanks!
Hi,
the ADS GUI is too slow by connection it through the VPN, so does anyone know how to control ADS by command or script? I want to realize the following functions:
1. open the design project
2. open the layout design
3. do momentum simulation
4. when the simulation finish, save the layout...
