HI Sinisa
Thank you for useful link to discrete driver circuit ... and for your patience.
My doubt about relation between propagation time and maximum frequency and minimum period.
You're thinking at driver (or any device) as something like a "delay line". If you change an input the output...
repair voltage pin regulator inspiron 1500
I have a Sony Vaio PCG K315Z
It's fan is very noisy because it's almost all time at full speed.
In my opinion the noise has increased in the last few months because it's quite dirty inside and air don't circulate well and processor is hot.
I want to...
sony vaio pcg-k315z
My fan turn almost always at maximum speed making a lot of noise. I want to open my notebook to clean it hoping that fan slow down. I tried but I can't open it completely.
Anyone has service manual of this pc or know where I can find informations ?
You have two outputs out of phase, this means to double voltage on load. For a resistive load you multiply power by four.
This is useful when you want high power but you have relatively low voltage.
There is mainly three way to break a MOS:
1) interrupt the channel between D and S
2) shorting channel between D and S
3) breaking gate oxide
you can try to check with a simple ohmmeter:
1) set for checking diode, connect positive of ohmmeter on S and negative on D, you should find around 0,4...
It could be 50 % rise to 50 % fall. This is jut to give you an idea. To have a trapezoidal wave on capacitor of 40 ns or less I close the first switch (to 400 V) then I open it. Then after a while I close the second switch to discharge the capacitor.
To achieve a duration of high voltage pulse...
Hi Sinisa
you're right. I've not been so clear.
I have to use two of this switch, one to charge capacitor to 250 or 400 V, the other to discharge capacitor to 0 V.
Now switches are made with a series of 2N1711 ! I want to replace with MOS and, probably, ready made driver. But I need a high...
hv high speed switch
I need a switch quite special to connect a 400 V to a load (50 pF // 5,6 MΩ). The rise time has to be less than 30 ns.
I would use medium power MOS, N channel. Anyone has already seen something like this ?
Re: Linux on Hp
If you're a beginner in Linux trying to install manually a driver could be complicated.
I suggest to try first Mandriva. If you have to install something you probably find and "rpm" version that's installed almost in a "double click".
Re: Linux on Hp
You can try Mandriva 2008.1 (Spring). It has a lot of driver.
Here https://club.mandriva.com/xwiki/bin/view/KB/HardwareIndex?language=en you can find a list of hardware compatibility.
Without knowing the type of sensor, the circuit and the characteristic of AD converter is impossible answer.
In general if the sensor need two or three wires you can use shielded coaxial cable.
If you use two normal wires and take them apart you have a loop that can pick up magnetic field and...
Re: boost regulator
Lets start from point 3 that's the easiest.
If all the components (L, S and diode) are ideal they don't dissipate -> power from Ub goes only in the load -> Ub • Ig = Uq • Iq. (reversing all voltage arrows).
1) a rough meaning of "steady state" is that nothing change. This...
Re: phmeter
I suggest to check analog interface first.
First stage: it would be better if you use a non inverting amplifier with gain > 1.
The schematic isn't complete:
1) how is the op amp power supply ? If it's 5 V the circuit will not work because common mode input range.
2) do you use...
