    TRIAC Peak gate voltage

vgm en un triac It was late here. So the answer to the initial question is that the Diac cannot deliver an overvoltage to the gate due to the time it takes to fully conduct relatiive to the discharge time of the capacitor.

    TRIAC Peak gate voltage

diac trigger capacitor voltage I looked up two datasheets for the BT139 part. One a Phillips which indicates the 5-volt limitation that you mentioned. The other a Semi-Well brand that indicated a 10-volt limit. Both indicated a 2-amp gate current as a maximum which tells me that the Phillips...

home made card reader I did a search for build a magnetic stripe reader and got many results. One such is this. http://stripesnoop.sourceforge.net/hardware/reader.html

    TRIAC Peak gate voltage

triac gate trigger I looked up a datasheet for the T0609M triac. As I interpret what it says, it does not indicate to me any gate voltage limitation, 5-volts or not. It only indicates a threshold voltage of 1.5 volts or 10 ma. to trigger. It indicates an average gate input power of 1-watt with...

ethernet lightning protection The only real fix for this is to convert to fiber or wireless. Fiber being by far the most secure and reliable.

    heating problem of mosfet

Without a freewheeling diode between the Q3/L1 junction and ground, L1 is merely a resistor. Suggest adding a diode with cath to L1. Looks like some capacitance is needed on the output too.

    Please Explain this RF Circuit

Without building and testing, it appears that the 555 switches the base of Q1 with a "ping". The ping in turn causes a ringing in the output tank, much as would occur in a frequency tripler used in a PLL. It looks effective though very low power.

using external voltage reference for DC , what's the problem

5 volts thru a 2:1 divider would present 2.5 volts to the input. Your reference should also be 2.5 volts. By exceeding the 3.3 volts input on pin 7 you have damaged the pin 7 input, shorting the input protection diodes. You'll need to start over with another chip. The software needs only to...

    TRIAC Peak gate voltage

triac vgm Your link doesn't work for me, so I cannot comment on what you indicated. More importantly one should not exceed the maximum gate current. If the 30 volts is current limited below the maximum gate current, the 5 volt value will never be exceeded.

Looking for an internal TV circuitry

Re: Internal TV Circuitry I serviced T.V.'s for my living at one time. I've since moved on to things that pay better. For a "tutorial" of T.V. see this. https://electronics.howstuffworks.com/tv12.htm You can find free schematics for T.V's and other devices here. **broken link removed** image...

    EDA for 64-bit processor

If you don't mind me jumping in, and in case it proves helpful, Mandrake 10.1 is available with 64 bit support to take advantage of the new architecture.
