Help me design a MMIC Switch

You can use pin diode to built a switch. www.agilent.com You can get some App Notes from there...

    Direct Conversion-Zero IF question?

I think rfsystem means : using a HPF(high pass filter) to filtering DC(frequency =0Hz) , And for the OFDM I am not farmiliar with that but maybe that's some kinds of architecture defined by OFDM or other scheme?

How to design a high directivity coupler?

It seems we can buy coupler that made by strip line technology, not microstrip line. What's the benefit ? lower loss & good directivity?

    Why choice 50 ohm system?

But we can choice operation frequency even 0~100GHz, I think 50 ohm should be not a good point to match to. Am I right?

    Why choice 50 ohm system?

We always choice 50 ohm to match what we need, but why? and 75 ohm seems for video system ?

Why use transformer in RF circuit?

So, what's difference between transformer & balumn? it looks like the same function..

Why use transformer in RF circuit?

I know use it as impedance transform like 1:4 or 1:1.. Another reason for this? Also, we can use L,C network to do match ..

how to design 0.01-1GHz low noise amplifier?

Befor you matching & simulation , you still need to get a chip or die . @gilent got many MMIC , frequency from 0.1~6 GHz , only thing you need to do is add a inductor & resistor .

    Best SW for RF Simulation

Microwave Office 2003 is good for beginner, but maybe in some case it's not accurate. EX, some cascade amplifier , I think that ADS should be good than MWO.
