Hi all ,
I've designed a rectangular cavity in hfss and I will simulate it by a linear antenna.
Now, I need to enter the electromagnetic field inside the rectangular cavity through a hole on a side of this cavity. but, unfortunately, I don't know how to create this hole :!:.
I wonder if we can measure the reflection coefficient in the case of Dielectric Resonator Cavity
with the knowledge that cavity does'nt have any excitation port!. (as in attached image)
if there is any method or other model, please tell me.

Do you mean ceramic resonator which is ceramic filled coaxial resonator, or dielectric loaded cavity resonator?
it's the dielectric loaded cavity resonator
Eignemode: calculate the eigenmodes, or resonances, of a structure.
The Eigenmode solver finds the resonant frequencies of the structure and the
fields at those resonant frequencies
