I installed dxp 2004 and installed with administrator account, there is no problem to run it with administrator account. However, when I switch to a regular user account to use it, it doesn't work.
Anyone has any idea to solve this problem?
It seems protel always sucks with NT system user...
For NT environment (Win2000/WinXp), Dxp is better. Basically Protel98/99/99Se are designed for Win95/98, if you install for NT system, then you need to change a lot of security setting for regular user to use without error. Also, all the users share the same setting files, it could be headache...
Actually you can directly copy files under folder Mathsoft\Mathcad 11 Enterprise Edition (from installation CD or another computer) to your harddrive, then run regtool.exe to register all the components, you can run MathCAD with blank product code. :P However, you got to put an individual...
It seems this problem is nothing to do with the compatibility for WinXp, check you license file and the installation.
For WinXp compatibility problem, it will come out after you get yout schematic done and start to simulate your circuit. It will be reported as program subroutine error.

Re: Block diagram
Although Microsoft Office is not free, most of us have it installed on Windows system. For basic diagram drawing and flowchart, we can make with powerpoint.
Visio is not free. :(
Also, for Visio 2000, professional version doesn't have EE library to draw circuit, technical version is needed for circuit drawing. Visio 2002 professional version has EE library. :)

Most PS printer drivers are also capable to print out negative image, sometime it is useful to make a single side PCB in house.
high frequency inveter project example free
For the transformer core, ferrite or metalglass is your choice. The latter is much more expensive.
Another thing you need to take care is the output stage, generally you will use a diode rectifier after high frequency link. However, the reverse...
igbt+dc-ac converter schematic
I just wonder in such application whether the Sinusoidal output is really needed.
Normally the computer and monitor have their own SMPS bulit-in, and those power supply will rectify the input AC to DC. If just diode rectifier is used and no PFC circuit presents...
I hesitate to install DXP because of the crazy recommand hardware requirement: 1.4GHz CPU, 64MB Video Card, 512MB System Memory
My computer is too old to meet it. :P
