I'm trying to implement (in VHDL) a simple 3-bit counter that is loaded asynchronously. The CPU writes to an 8-bit register, in which 3 of those bits are the ones that are loaded into the counter. These 3-bits determine the duty cycle for the PWM output that is gated on the TC of the counter...
We currently have one PCMCIA slot for I/O (for like 802.11 PCMCIA radios), in which the CPU interfaces to an FPGA that has the I/O registers and control logic to the PCMCIA slot.
Yes I'm trying to incorporate the needed buffering w/ control glue in one part. This will be a true mass storage...

Hello,
I'm trying to implement a CPLD that will interface between a compact flash card, that will be configured as an ATA device, and the PXA250 Xscale processor. The PXA250 has the necessary hardware control signals for compact flash interface to control reads/writes...
Hello;
I happen to be working on a new Xscale development platform that will center around the PXA250 CPU. I'm actually trying to bolt up a compact flash slot as a True IDE or ATA device for mass strorage options. I plan to use a Coolrunner CPLD to provide the needed buffering and needed glue...
Thanks, but where do I need go on that site to find cross references to a particular part or manufacturer...
I couldn't find a link to search for cross reference...
Does anyone know of any web-sites or databases that I can use to find cross references to all kinds of electronics parts such as IC's, passives, audio devices, power supplies etc...?
Thanks

Well, I looked over the app note and it explains how to interface the flash memory to the PXA250 processor. Now, is there a way to interface IDE devices to the PXA250 processor, possibly through the compact flash interface? Could IDE devices (as stand-alone) interface with the PXA processor or...
Just wondering if anyone might have design experience with the Intel PXA250 processor. I need help with seeing if Compact Flash-to-IDE interface can be done using the PXA250. Please let me know if anyone has any information regarding this topic.
Thanks.
