Re: ASK or AM transmitter?
Hi, Mimomod,
Thanks for your reply.
When you google 433mhz ask transmitter, you will find a lot of wireless chipsets for 433mhz. So people did use ASK for wireless comm. But for audio transmission, people normally use AM because of its analog nature, i think.

ASK or AM transmitter?
Hi, all,
I am confused with these terms, ASK and AM. I know one for digital and one for analog. But how exactly they are being used?
Let's say, for RFID application, should I use an ASK transmitter or an AM transmitter?

Thanks.
Re: what is RF amplifier?
No luck.
Is TSH690 of STMicroelctronics suitable?
I would like to construct a power amplifier for a AM receiver. The building block sequence would be Antenna---->BPF--->PA--->Envelop detector--->Comparator.
Would this work?
Please help on this issue.
Thanks.

Re: what is RF amplifier?
Thanks for all your reply.
If not using RF amplifier, could I put a class A amplifier just after the antenna to increase the receive sensitivity? I am using a similar circuit as in the following link **broken link removed**
Thanks.

what is RF amplifier?
Hi, all,
I am a newbie in RF, and want to know what is the difference between normal opamp and RF amplifier. To construct a power amplifier after antenna, must i use an RF amplifier at 433 mhz? If yes, please recommend a few model.
Thanks.
