    display result in LCD

I want to display some voltage information directly into the LCD (without programming a mcu). can someone suggest me some IC that i can use for the purpose.

Thanks for the answers....Its very clear now....

    INA 2126 SenseA pin...

Pardon my ignorence, i can understand that i can connect them externally. but the advantage of connecting externally is not clear to me at all. Please give me an example, of possible....

    INA 2126 SenseA pin...

Can someone explain me the purpose of Sense A pin in INA 2126 (dual version of INA 126). The pin does not exist in single version. Only two lines are written in the datasheet and not quite clear to me. I hope someone helps me the purpose and the best use of it. Thank you

    power resistor as heater

I know the heating on top of the plastic will be less than required. And i can not use a metal sheet.there are ofcourse other issues that are not discussed here. I should make it more clear by saying i am right now focusing on generating a heat of around 70 degree on the bottom of the surface. A...

    power resistor as heater

the surface i would be heating has plastic layer (on the heating side) and then metal layer (on top of plastic). i will check the package. faster heating is also a key for my design. - - - Updated - - - so, that means 1 W should be enough to raise temp. to 70 degre. and i should calculate...

    power resistor as heater

can you tell me about the temperature issue. To my knowledge higher the power dissipation , higher the temperature. But how would i know the power vs temp. relation..... Also how to decide whether i should buy a high resistance or low resistance power resistor

    power resistor as heater

Hi, i want to use power resistor to heat up a surface from (30~70 degre celsius). the area is quite small 3x3 cm and so i want to use single small power resistor and a control circuit. Can someone recommend me a power resistor for this purpose? i want to use it with a supply around 12 v from...

    wrong measurment with PCB circuit

Yes, the dc volage applied in power supply can perfewctly be measured and as i said the if the source of input is from from a dc supply no problem can be observed. I have attached the circuit fr convenience. its simply a filter plus amplifier. The signal i am trying to measure come from a...

    wrong measurment with PCB circuit

Thanks for quick reply....Its a single side board. I designed the PCB board and set the input trace width to 10 mil. So you mean it should have benn 40 mil?? Also is not it surprising the circuit works fine with a dc supply of same range without any problem.

    wrong measurment with PCB circuit

I fabricated a PCB board first time and used trace width of 20 mil for power traces and 10 mil for all others. When i check the circuit with dc input voltage (ex:50 mv- 600 mv) everything is perfect. When i connect it to a real input (also a dc potential in the same range, ~30 uA current), the...

    PCB layout format...

Hi, The problem is solved. It is through this : Options -> Global Preferences -> PCB Design -> Show Global Fiducial Marks (uncheck) It was checked by default and i had no idea what did it mean, so did not change this. @Mattylad, And for the extension, I think you are right. The company is...

    PCB layout format...

hi, i added some text outside my outline but it still coming inside the outline when i create gerber,... so i don understand where the additional space outside the outline coming from.....is that default ? if so how can i change this setting. someone who use ultiboard may help me.....

    PCB layout format...

In that case, i wonder how would i change the file name extension for drills. Ultiboard created two files with .drl and .rep extension. But the manufacturer are asking in one file in XLN extension. i thought both .drl and .rep are necessery, no?? I have another issue. my board outline is 30X28...

Hi, this is my first time to design a layout. I used ultiboard and after i generated gerber files followings were the formats Top Layer .GBR Bottom Layer .GBR Top Soldermask .GBR Bottom Soldermask...
