I am trying to create a circular patch antenna.
For that, should I create a 2D patch or 3D sphere or cylinder will work?
If I can make 3D patch, will be be cylinder or sphere?
Also can I feed it with rectangular transmission line?

its not necessary that you get exact results, they may be slightly different because of different softwares and different settings
