DO anyone know how to create the layout from a specific part in ADS? Currently I am using ATF34143 and there is no layout in that component. I only saw a box with a cross in the layout.
Actually I am doing the frequency multiplier. So I want to have maximum 2nd harmonics output power. Therefore, the gain for fundamental is need to degrade. Normally, we match the series open stub based on Smith chart to do for the fundamentals . Any idea to do for 2nd harmonics?
Do anyone can help me on how to match the network at the 2nd harmonics frequency? IF look at the smith chart from S1,1 how can we determine and match the network based on it? Any characteristics that must be meet to match the 2nd harmonics network? let say the fundamental frequency is 5 GHz.
tat means let say input is 5Ghz and output is 10Ghz and my impedance matching is 50 ohm. Input matching network is design match to 5Ghz and the output matching network at drain is match with 10 Ghz? Input and output impedance is 50 ohm?
Can anyone guide me on how to design the input and output matching network for frequency doubler? I saw many books give different network and I don't know why they use . Why they use 2 L matching? Why they use radial stub? Why they have 2 L network?
Any books or websites can suggest in order...
convert zap to spice
can you explain or where can I get the step on how to use the netlist converter? is it include in ADS the converter?
I already unarchive the zap file. how to put in my design?
nonlinear model atf36077 using ads
thanks. it is useful for me but i have some questions to ask:
1. the zap file i unarchived already but how can I put in my design and use it?
2. the spice model (PSP) file how to put in the library and use it?
