Hi, all,
could you help me?
Assuraoa3.1.7, ic6.1.3, MMISM07 were used. when assura drc run for the firstly several times, they were successful. But afterwards it always said failed, and in the log file it wrote "Error unknown: unable to create library "AssuraOutLib"". What's wrong with Assura...
Hi, everyone, could I ask something about VCO loop gain? HBT is used for the design.
I used OscTest of ADS to simulate the VCO loop gain and got the result as hte attachment showed. In the figure we can see there is hopping of the loop gain. I am wondering what is reason and if there is any...
unconditional stability wiki
It said that the condition of amplifiers' unconditional stability is K factor not smaller than 1 and delta(S) smaller than 1. But for my simulation, while this condition is satisfied, the load stability circle doesn't lie totally outside of Smith Chart. It means...
Excuse me, is there anyone who knows the configuration or principle of limiting amplifier? I did not find them on web. Could anyone give me some suggestion?
Thanks in advance!
Thanks for your attention. Someone has solved it. The reason for my problem is that the linearity range of the transistor in the second stage limits the output. After we use a larger transistor, the problem is solved.
Excuse me,
For common-base input Gilbert cell mixer, when the buffer is one-stage, it can work well, but when the buffer is two-stage, there is distortion for the output of the switch stage, though the bias point is the same.
What is the problem?Thanks!
Re: Why use VCO?
I think my question is not clear enough.
I guess it is because tunable filter is not easily realized, we use VCO to get a fixed output frequency although the input signal is of different frequencies.
gilbert cell mixer
Excuse me, for bias of Gilbert-cell mixer, what is optimum Vbe of LO transistors? How could I bias them to realize switches?
Thanks in advance!
