TVS Diode question
I am trying to get ESD protection for a board that has multiple ICs.
I'd like to use TVS diodes, because they're small.
Does each VCC pin on each IC need its own TVS diode?
For example the main MCU has 7 VCC pins, does that require 7 TVS?
thank you
Hi,
I've been trying to design a start/stop unidirectional DC motor driver to help students (mainly junior high to high school) learn about various hardware devices (BJTs, FETs)
I successfully got the drive and brake to work up to 24V, thanks to a lot of googling and searching. But, I have a...

I'm trying to run a matrix of 16x5 of regular red LED's using the TLC5920 and I was wondering if anyone had a sample working schematic that I could use as a reference. I downloaded the pdf but it was sparse on details for how exactly to set it up.
I'm using a PIC18F2420 to run it and...
Thanks for the reply, but I got a bit of help.
I just needed to know how to connect a transistor to a JST connector using an open collector, and how to draw it on a schematic.
I'll post again if I have further trouble =)

I need to set up a single output through an open collector then out through a relay and out via JST connector. I've been told that I need 4 pins on the JST connector, one for 24V, one for ground, 1 for data and (?)
This board will be to receive an IR signal...
IR is just a type of light which is on the part of the spectrum that humans can't see. If you have a digital camera or anything with CCD, you can see the light there. Don't think of them as rays or radiation, it's just light. Light can travel through glass. like windows for example, because they...
