Why does op amp go into oscillations when I increase the bias voltage?

Re: Op amp oscillations I gave an external power supply to the op amp (..with constant current) what dont understand is if the oscillations are due to any ground effects at the input or due to decoupling faults..

Why does op amp go into oscillations when I increase the bias voltage?

Can anyone tell me why does my op amp goes into oscillations when I increae the bias volyage..I have decoupled the supply with 3 sets of capacitances on each side..still it just puffs up...

Ground near the op amp - is it ok?

Thanks for that..I have coplanar transmission lines as inputs to the op amp pin.. Do you know if the grounds on it also affect?

Ground near the op amp - is it ok?

If ground plane is close to the op amp pins, does it affect the input noise or anyother parameter of the amplifier?

    what is a return current.

Return current is the current through the ground. Looking at the ckt as a loop the current is seen looping around source to the circuit to load and back to ground ..thats the return path for the current..hence return current.

Help me calculate the increase in resistance of a conductor caused by the skin effect

Re: Skin Effect Resistivity of a metal is a constant. so you can calculate Resistance offered by the metal conductor as P*l/A where P = resistivity, l=length of the line and A = Area of cross section of the transmission line. The cross sectional dimensions have to have atleast 3 skin depths...

    Input Noise ? - help!

I am trying test an Trans impedance amplifier circuit.. with charge pulses having rise times in several pico seconds..now when I connect the input signal to the BNC adapter which goes on to my PCB board the input signal just shoots up into oscillations as seen on an oscilloscope..but when I...
