Hello,
In my case i don`t want to have a GPS at all...thus let me try to rephrase my question "how to get 1PPS signal from an alternative source rather a GPS? "
1PSS should be always available and i suppose pretty accurate -since the solution would be a source generating 1PPS-
I did found out...
Hi, Thanks for your reply.
I suppose what you proposed is a desk equipment, i am looking for something smaller like a module that can be assembled in a small box.
Hello,
I was wondering whether are any modules available in the market which actually generate 1PPS instead of using a GPS signal?
I`m trying to find a way to have 1PPS when GPS signal is lost or is unavailable.
Thanks,
Christos D
Hi All,
I did the below calculations but i`m not sure if i figure them correctly especially when i need to add the DCDC converters efficiency and the external ACDC PSU.
So my example:
Board 1: 12v x 2A = 24w
Board 2: 28v x 1A = 28w
Board 3: 5v x 2A = 10w
Each board is power by a different...
Here is a link to an amphenol connector.
On the specs table -> shell Plating: Non-Conductive Black Zinc
The specific connector can be also -> shell Plating: Conductive Black Zinc
Thanks
Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
The DCDC has no integrated current limiter.
Not sure how this statement is valid "(A DCDC converter with short circuited output may draw low input current while delivering full output current)"
Could you elaborate a bit further?
Thanks
Hi,
I have the below block diagrams as an example.
Question 1: Circuit breaker should be placed on the input or on the output of the DCDC converter ?
I suppose both will work but whats the effect in case of a short?
Question 2: How do i calculate the circuit breaker amperage selection...
Hi,
I was looking for a power connector and i saw the options of Shell Plating to be either Conductive or non-conductive .
What does it actually mean for the device and user?
Thanks,
Stoui
Hi everyone,
I have a general question on how to calculate the input and out capacitor values for a DCDC converter for filtering/smoothing.
My example:
DCDC Converter: Synqor NQ60W60QTC25NRS
Input Voltage: 36v
Output Voltage: 12v
Load: 5A
Is there any mathematical formulas to find what...
Hi all!
I recently purchase pickit 2 starter kit with the demo board and i`m trying to play a little bit with it.
I`m using flowcode 4 and i load the .hex file to the pickit app.
I achieve to turn on a led etc...
Now i`m trying to make t blinking! Even though my simulation on flowcode is...
Hi all, i would like to read some comments about the iCa01 programmer from Piccircuit!
**broken link removed**
Have anyone used it before? does it work properly?
I`m a newbie in PIC programming and i don`t want to spend a lot money at the moment so i decided NOT to buy a Pickit 2 from...
Hey thanks for your reply!
I want to know these compilers are used just to convert the C language into machine language?
So i have to develop my C "set of commands" and then load that file into one compiler to convert, or i can direct right in these compilers the commands i want and convert...
Hey all thanks for your replies.
I would like some advices.
I decided to use C language. Now i need to find a C compiler. Is the final file in HEX or BINARY?
I`m having already the 16F84A-04 PIC. I found a programmer that supports 8, 18, 28 and 40 pin PIC microcontrollers which allow serial...
