Re: Diode Question....
I would try the Germanium one but also are you using more than just the diode? Maybe adding a small capacitor would do the trick.

Hello,
I am currently designing a control system to control 2 compressors. The current design uses an Allen Bradley PLC (1747-L542B 5/04 CPU - 32K mem). I am having a little difficulty with the implementation of the ladder logic.
The way the compressors work is that 1...
pseudo random vhdl
Hello,
I asked a similar question earlier to this one except that I wanted to implement a pseudo random binary noise generator using physical hardware. That worked well.
Now I am wondering how I would go about implementing one on an EPLD. Does anyone know of where I might...

It really depends on what you want to implement. Both have good points about them and it is really up to the application as to which one you choose. What application did you have in mind?
pseudo random noise signal generator
Thanks for the help guys but I need a pseudo random generator. It is random but it always follows the same sequence if it is restarted. Any other ideas?
Thanks
pseudo binary random generator
Hello,
I was wondering how I would go about building a pseudo-random binary noise generator. I was wanting to build it totally out of basic analog components. If possible I don't want to use a programmable chip. Could any one help me with a circuit design or give...
